A word of warning about clicking wantonly on the "language" button. If you or your PC can't read Chinese, it is very difficult to get back to English, and you end up with a screen full of soduku numbers and hieroglyphics and no "back to English" button.  We sent in a comment to the web master about this glitch. Admirably, they replied within a couple of hours and set the problem straight.  For the record, here was their advice: “Login to your account with your handle and password. Click on the 'My/Our Account' link at the top of the homepage. Click on 'Other Preferences' found under the 'Preferences' section. Scroll down to the 'Language' section and click on the language of your choice."

Asian Friend Finder's Help Files, FAQ page and customer service are above standard, as is the level of recent activity from members all around the world.  The blogs, discussion boards and live chat are sometimes buzzing with activity which is the best sign of a healthy web site and the best chance of getting a date. As such, if you want to be part of a community and not just sending the occasional message in a 1 on 1 format, you can get involved on this website. This is a good way to meet friends and get talking to new people for the first time, and it’s often overlooked by other dating sites.

Most members have taken the time to upload photos and fill in their profile information. These are easy enough to find using searches, although we would like some kind of “online” symbol to show us which members are active, and which part of the sites they visit. You can click “who’s online” which shows you all the members who are online but this could be better used when browsing. There’s also a “members near me” tab which quickly identifies possible dates within your locale. 

As with all the Friend Finder dating sites, you can create a Friends network, so if you have met someone, say for example through telling a joke on the discussion board, you can stay in touch with your dating buddies.  There is the option of deleting all members in this list with inactive profiles immediately, so this keeps things fresh.  

Asia Friend Finder apparently had over 100,000 members online when we logged on, which is very impressive and bodes well for finding a date, although a good portion of these people were not Asian.
