As such if you’re not currently living in the UK then this site might not be of much use to you, unless you’re looking to move or hoping a member might be willing to relocate. Perhaps one of the most attractive elements of the site is its events section. Here you can find out what’s going on near you and arrange to meet up with members in a safe location. These events are sometimes religion-specific, so if you’re looking for someone of a particular faith, and an event which will conform to the requirements of that faith, you can probably find such an event here.

If you’re a little light in the wallet you can get a free upgrade if you manage to recruit a friend to the site. Upgrading can otherwise be purchased and there are two upgrades to choose from, as well as two different payment systems. Paying your whole bill in one go is a little more expensive than a subscription, whether you choose Plus or Premium membership.

Plus members get a 10% discount on most events, they can send and receive messages, engage in D8chat instant messaging and see who has looked at their profile.

Premium members can send messages to free members, who can read and reply to their messages, and they get a 20% discount on events. The fact that free members can reply to premium members’ messages makes the premium membership a lot more attractive as they can approach new members who have not yet upgraded their profile, getting the opportunity to flirt before their Plus competitors. 

There are few features to speak of on this site, although you can access it on your mobile. We’d like to see more in the way of forums and group activities, particularly since the site is so keen on its members meeting in real life through its events.
