I have been using this site for a few months and have spend thousands of USD. I have recently googled for feedback and to my surprise, I read more complaints than praises.
We pay to chat and the other party will write sweet words to you. I am an Asian and no Asian ladies will be so open or desperate to say they love you or miss you, just after 5 minutes of chat.
Try this experiment on your own:
1. Tell them it is expensive to chat and use other alternatives. It's just to test the ladies. Most of the time, you will hear them saying they are sorry it cost so much etc but will continue to chat with you.
2. They will refuse to use any alternatives, like Skype or Facebook. Excuses will include they do not know how to use Skype or they have never heard of Facebook. Best excuse I have heard: 'I need to get a skyp to chat with you'. Get. Dude, it's a software you download, not a device. And, I have many friends in Tailand, Vietnam and Philippines using Facebook. Please, if you can chat means you have a computer and Internet connection.
3. I caught a few with a Facebook account. Same photos, same name. When I added them as a Facebook friend, most did not respond but one did. And the one that did asked me who am I. Who am i? Oh great. I went back to the site and asked the lady if she had a Facebook account. The reply: No.
I leave it to the users here to judge. I believe some are genuine but I do not know how many. Perhaps 1 out of 100 are real. The above test is to prove they are not real. As I have since given up on this site, I decided to be a bad guy to test them using the above and it proved my point.
Anyway, there is an agency, linked to idateasia in Philippines, was raided for pretending to be the ladies in the chat but they are actually men!
So, my take, avoid this site at all cost. Don't be a sucker and chat with a man or a scammer, who is likely milking money from your pocket while you are getting all excited about the 'lady'
In summary, I would not recommend iDate Asia to a friend.
